What A 2020

Updated: Feb 10, 2021

As we reflect on the highs and lows of 2020. There has been great lost and sickness this year across the world. One thing we know for sure is that God is still God and he is working in our favor.

This year has been a year of plenty for The Braggs. We purchased a home, got married, travelled and we have grown together. With 2020 we have grown closer together as well as with our family and friends. We have gain some new friends and sparked old relationships with family members.

With 2020 we all have had to adjust to our daily way of living. Franklin started a new job where he continues to excel as well as becoming a licensed electrician apprentice. Thai continued to work from home since March with allowed her to make the new house a home. We are so grateful she has been able to work from home through our family battles this year.

In May of this year mother Braggs was diagnosed with Non-Hopskins Lymphoma, stage 4. That weighed heavy on our entire family and forced us all to work together on her behalf. Mother Armstrong has been a true angel in this situation, helping us manage our new home with a cancer patient and taking her to/from all apportionments. By the grace of God, in late October we had the best news in the world; the cancer was in remission, but the battle was not over. At the early stages of her cancer the doctors notice an additional mass in her brain, something they were not worried about at the time. Once the cancer was maintain in November the focus was her brain, after surgery they did a biopsy and discovered it was not cancerous, but had to be removed. So now the battle is radiation, something we know she can fight with us along the way.

The challenges in 2020 we faced were great, but with our family, friends and a lot of prayers this year has not been all that bad. We have started our marriage as one, we had to tackle home ownership and learning how to live and take care of our extended family.

We were able to start this blog with the support of all of you. We will continue to share and give you a look into our everyday life in 2021.

As we look forward to 2021 we pray that the best is yet to come. We cannot wait to see what God has plan in 2020, continue to watch and read with us.
