5 Flavor Pound Cake

This is one of my favorite cakes, I used to make this years back all the time.

Cook time: 1 Hr 15 Min Serves: 12

4 stick butter (room temperature)

3 c sugar

3 c cake flour

6 eggs (room temperature)

1 tsp each - lemon, vanilla, almond, coconut, & rum flavor

3/4 c milk

1. Pre-heat oven to 325. Spray a bunt pan with cooking spray or you can grease it with butter or margarine and coat it with flour.

2. Cream together butter and sugar for about 5 min. Start to add your eggs one at a time, beat the mixture for an additional 2 minutes. Add all your flavors mix until incorporated.

3. Next, add 1/3 of the cake flour to the cream mixture and mix until flour is incorporated, add half the milk. Add another 1/3 of the cake flour, blend, pour the rest of the milk in the batter, and blend. Add remaining cake flour to batter and mix, but don't over mix, just until flour is blended in.

4. Pour the batter into the bundt pan and bake at 325 for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Start to check the cake with a toothpick after the first hour. Take the cake out of the oven and let cool completely before inverting the cake onto a plate.

Try it out, let us know how it turns out. Add a new twist.

I sprinkled a powdered sugar, cut some strawberries and created a glazed for the top.

For the glaze I used I used strawberry flavor, lemon juice and powdered sugar.
